Mastering the Art of Sound Alignment in Music - Expert Harmonic Mixing Techniques by Digital DJ Tips (Tutorial)

Key Detection for harmonic mixing was recently added to DEX 3 DJ software.

A modified version of the Camelot Scale Key and the Musical Key is automatically analyzed and displayed in both the decks and in the browser (“detect musical key” needs to be enabled in DEX 3’s options, under the general tab) upon loading a track to the deck, or during a batch analyzation of your track library. Both the Musical Key and modified Camelot Scale Key are display within the DEX 3 browser, to the far right side within the track tag data blocks. You can also search by key in DEX 3 using the method explained in this tutorial video .
